Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan-Niklas Voigt-Antons is professor of Applied Computer Science with a Focus on Immersive Media at Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences, where he directs the Immersive Reality Lab (11 research associates, 6 student assistants) and the HealthTech-HL research group. He is also a guest scientist at Technische Universität Berlin. His research covers spatial and multimodal interaction, generative AI in media contexts, and psychophysiological evaluation methods for extended reality and digital health. He holds a Diplom in Psychology (TU Darmstadt) and a Dr.-Ing. (TU Berlin, magna cum laude), and has contributed to ITU-T Recommendation P.812 on subjective VR test methods. Since 2015, he has raised €4.609 million in third-party funding across 22 projects.
