Julia Schorlemmer is a Research Scientist and PhD Candidate at Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences, where she is part of the Immersive Reality Lab. Her research focuses on human-computer interaction in extended reality (XR) environments, combining physiological measurements such as EEG, ECG, and EDA with user-centered evaluations. She investigates how technological parameters in immersive systems influence stress, cognitive load, and user experience, with the goal of optimizing training and human-machine interaction. She is involved in interdisciplinary projects bridging psychology, engineering, and applied research.
